At Chung-Ang University Gwangmyeong Hospital's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, we operate a comprehensive Women's Health Center, providing one-stop care for all conditions related to women's health. Our goal is to deliver specialized and efficient diagnosis and treatment while creating a comfortable environment for all women visiting our department. Our department comprises a Gynecologic Cancer Center and a High-Risk Maternal and Neonatal Care Center, supported by a dedicated team of seven obstetrics and gynecology specialists committed to providing the highest quality care.
Department Overview

Obstetrics
The Obstetrics Clinic at Chung-Ang University Gwangmyeong Hospital consists of three maternal-fetal medicine specialists, focusing on high-risk pregnancies. We provide care for conditions such as advanced maternal age, preexisting maternal diseases (e.g., hypertension, diabetes, autoimmune diseases), gestational hypertension, gestational diabetes, fetal growth restriction, fetal structural abnormalities, and infertility-related pregnancies.
From preconception care to delivery, we are dedicated to safeguarding the health of both mothers and babies. Regular multidisciplinary consultations involving obstetricians, neonatologists, pediatric surgeons, and pediatric anesthesiologists ensure comprehensive prenatal and postnatal care. We also provide fetal treatments for conditions such as fetal hydrops, ascites, urinary obstruction, and fetal anemia, striving to support healthy pregnancies and deliveries.

Gynecology
The Gynecology Department prioritizes women’s health by offering exceptional care through the Gynecologic Cancer Center. We specialize in treating gynecologic cancers and benign conditions, providing a full spectrum of treatments, including open surgeries, advanced robotic surgeries using the da Vinci system, laparoscopic surgeries, minimally invasive procedures, chemotherapy, and cutting-edge targeted/immunotherapy.
Our collaborative care system ensures fast, precise, and personalized treatment for every patient. We also incorporate a Postoperative Early Recovery Program and pay meticulous attention to the cosmetic aspects of surgical wounds for optimal patient outcomes
