Located in Iljik-dong, Gwangmyeong-si, Gyeonggi-do, Chung-Ang University Gwangmyeong Hospital is a composite medical facility equipped with approximately 700 patient beds. The hospital building consisting of 14 floors aboveground and 8 floors underground with gross floor area of 97,000 m2 was built on a site measuring 10,400m2.

In addition to 30 departments, Chung-Ang University Gwangmyeong Hospital provides locally specialized medical care service for severe diseases through the cluster of six specialized centers: Cancer Center, Cardio-cerebrovascular Center, Spine Center, Joint Center, Pulmonology & Allergy Center, and Gastroenterology Center.

Chung-Ang University Gwangmyeong Hospital is leading the paradigm of smart hospital by combining ICT such as AI and big data technologies with medical service and establishing the “Metaversepital,” a hospital in the digital twin world.
